Before you can start hunting for Audiologist Jobs, you need to get a masters or a doctoral degree first from an accredited university before you can practice your profession. And not only that, you should also have a special training in the prevention, identification, assessment and non-medical treatment of hearing disorders. Plus there's a rigorous national competency examination that you need to pass in order for you to get your license. Yup, it's that challenging! That's why the next time you meet an Audiologist, don't just think of them as someone who checks your ears because there's more to their job.
