I remember when I was a little girl and I looked at the map and saw the different names of countries located all over the globe and often wonder how life is living in those places. And when I began to learn a little more about the culture and the history of this places, my interest in them grew all the more. I would love to see the castles and churches in Europe, to ride in a gondola in Italy, to walk the Great Wall of China, and to be close to the wildlife in Africa.

My husband, who is also interested in culture and traveling, and I have aimed on visiting these places in the near future. We have actually been putting some money aside every month since we got married for this purpose. This really shows how serious we are in achieving this dream. Now that we have almost reached the amount we need for this expeditions, we have started looking for the travel agents that could give us the best deal of our money. There are a lot of agents out there that offer europe tours, italy tours, china tours and africa tours. I am sure we could find something that would give us a rewarding experience for a good rate.

I believe there is a huge difference in reading about a place from experiencing its culture, cuisine, climate, streets, and buildings first hand. I believe the latter is more rewarding, more enriching, and more educational. It is also a way of understanding ourselves and others better. With technology and transportation, countries and people have become reachable. We realize that it is a small world after all.
