This December is sure to be action packed! Not only is Christmas coming, and for my children the countdown to Rudolf and Santa has already begun, but I'm also going to an amazing winter-themed wedding. An old friend of mine has finally popped the question to his fiancée, and they've decided to combine their wedding with Christmas and an important birthday for him, and have one big celebration.
It's set to be a stunning day: fake snow in an old castle, with the bride looking amazing in her choice of snow white gowns, doves fluttering around as they leave the church and they are leaving for their honeymoon in a snow covered horse and cart! The bride has gone for minimal makeup and soft curls in her hair, and the groom will look dashing in a specially tailored black suit. I can't wait to go! The reception will be great too, with a large feast being served including delicate cupcakes and a stunning wedding cake . . . it's a day fit for a Princess.
The only problem was the gift. While the day is planned down to the last detail and set to be completely perfect, she needed a completely perfect present to finish it off, and what do you get the man that has everything? We spent hours scouring the shops for that gift, and eventually gave up and began discussing what we were hoping to receive for Christmas ourselves.
I'd found my dream present with a beautiful, jewel-encrusted watch that'd perfectly decorate my wrist; it was then that we spotted the perfect present for the groom. A Carl F Bucherer watch, combining a sparkling silver and deep blue; he will love it, and it'll be with him every day for the rest of his life. What a gift! I can't wait for the wedding!
