Home Layouts can Include Poker Tables Posted at 11/25/2010 01:09:00 PM 0 comments (+)

When one is arranging their home for the best fit and function with their lifestyle, it’s important to consider all of the variables. First, consider your status – are you married, or in a relationship, or dating? Living alone or with roommates? Obviously, if one does not have their living space to themselves, whether the other occupants of the abode are potentially family or not, it’s not awesome behavior to rearrange everything to suits one’s own desires. It’s a good route to ask others if they want the living space rearranged and one’s personal stamp placed upon the look and feel of a place.

Living alone is simple. One could rearrange the furniture twice a week – bumping into the unfamiliar arrangements as they went – if they so desired. Most people look for the maximum utilization of a space in their arrangements, and once they nail something that works pretty well with what furniture and other possessions dot the room, they leave well enough alone.

But with more than one person living in a space, opinions sometimes differ on what constitutes a nice looking room. Many guys really do prefer having poker tables set up permanently, so friends can come over regularly – and on a moment’s notice – to play a few hands of cards. This is one way that guys prefer to socialize, and it is in some contrast to what the ladies enjoy. Perhaps this is why there are wide differences of opinion on what ‘looks best’ inside a particular residence’s dwelling space.

Women, on the average, are extremely social creatures compared to men. They tend to like being with friends and other people a lot, especially in public spaces. Rather than doing their nails at home, they seem to prefer to go to a public salon. It’s easy to see why they might have different home layout opinions than guys.
