I just got home from work and I’m glad because I was able to leave the hospital early this time. My last two days at work was really tough. I had to deal with a lot of backlogs because some of the medical equipment we use in taking vital signs of our patients stopped working. I had to put in extra hours just to make sure that all information are in before I endorse to the next nurse. Good thing our new purchasing officer acted right away. I'd say the admin did a good job hiring a new one. He's really efficient and he understands that having a high quality and functioning medical equipment at work affects the productivity as well as the overall performance of the medical team. And he's very resourceful. We heard he utilized the internet to order the new supplies. How cool is that? Finally, there's someone in the purchasing office who knows how to use the computer. LOL!
Well, kidding aside, I'm really glad that I can now do my work efficiently. The blood pressure monitors are working well and the blood pressure cuffs I use to take the BP of my patients did the job wonderfully.
