What kind of job you want will depend on what kind of money you want to make and what you enjoy doing. To a certain extent, it will also depend on what you're capable of doing and where you want to live. There are some jobs that just can't be done in certain places. Commercial anglers, for example, wouldn't do well in a landlocked area. One area of work that's growing is the number of gulf jobs. Not everyone wants to move to that area of the world, but people who are willing to go to the Gulf region and work for a while can often make a great deal of money in a relatively short period of time. From the UAE to Dubai and beyond, you can work in all kinds of industries and get all kinds of jobs. There are regulations and requirements, of course, but they aren't too difficult to deal with. The culture there is very different from what is seen in the U.S. and Europe, as well as some other countries. However, if you're interested in making good money and seeing a unique and interesting part of the world, a job in the Gulf region might be for you.
Before you rule it out completely, take a look at the kinds of jobs that are offered, how long you would need to remain there, and what these particular jobs pay. Once you have more information, you'll be more likely to make an informed decision, instead of just making a quick choice based on limited knowledge. Especially in tough economic times, many people need work, and there are literally thousands of jobs in the Gulf region that need people to fill them. It could potentially be a good way to support a family until the economy in other countries gets better.
