Do you know what causes hair loss? Well, there are a lot of factors to be considered. It can either be hormonal or genetic or it can also be stress-related. For women who recently gave birth, they usually experience hair loss after 3 months. This is due to hormonal imbalance and is pretty normal among new moms. Some medicines can also cause hair loss that is why you have to ask your doctor about them and check if there are any side effects. Certain infections and underlying diseases such as lupus and diabetes can also cause hair loss. So if you have these diseases, don't hesitate to ask your doctor on what can be done to prevent or slow down the shedding of your hair. And last but not the least, treat your hair nicely because some hairstyles and hair treatments can be too harsh. As for genetics, well, it is self-explanatory. No need to expound it further. ;)
