Praying for Them Posted at 12/06/2009 05:31:00 PM 0 comments (+) My friends D & L are filing a disability appeal at SSA because their first attempt was declined. Their lawyer said it is normal to be declined the first time but that shouldn't discourage them. D really needs the SSDI benefits because he was forced to stop working due to his health problems. Half of his body is paralyzed and he can no longer talk clearly. They know it will take months and even years for their appeal to be reconsidered but they are hoping for the best.
