Exhausted and Gratified Posted at 9/04/2009 05:52:00 AM 0 comments (+) I did not know that thank you cards could mean so much, but in the baby shower I went to last night the baby shower thank you cards I received really, really meant a lot. Why? I had a rough day before going to the party. I was even thinking of missing it because I was so exhausted from work. But still I opted to go; I did not want to disappoint the people who invited me.

I tried not to be a party pooper, I tried to enjoy myself and have fun. Hey that is the whole essence of having the party anyway, celebrating with the future mommy and daddy the coming of their baby.

After the party the couple gave out shower thank cards to everybody. I don’t usually read those cards but the one they were giving out was different. It was so unique and striking that I had to read it. And I was so happy that I did. Somehow the thank you that was written on the Baby Thank You Card made me feel good. I was happy I still went and did not allow my tire out self to stop me.

By the way I had to ask where they got the cards and it was from CardsShoppe (http://www.cardshoppe.com). It was ordered online; the shipping was free and was designed especially for that event. They even gave me one extra card, since they got 10 more free cards.
