Fly High! Posted at 10/17/2008 07:53:00 PM 0 comments (+) I remember when I was a kid, it was my dream to become a flight attendant. But then, I was never given a chance to make that dream come true. For one, I didn't reach the required height which is around 5'5" and second, flight attendant schools in the Philippines was scarce at that time and only the "privileged few" can afford to go to that kind of school.

Anyway, the reason that I am being nostalgic here is because my friend just told me that she's going to enroll in a Flight Attendant School this Spring. She talked her dad into supporting her throughout the program and lucky for her, she got what she wanted. If I am not mistaken, she is going to the International Air & Hospitality Academy in Vancouver, WA. It's a school offering various programs on Airline Reservations and Airport Services, Airline/Travel Specialist, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management. Well, I am really happy for my friend and I am wishing her all the best in her new Flight Attendant Career.
