Tropical Storm 'Karen' Approaching RP

Tropical storm "Karen" has intensified into a typhoon and will hit Northern Luzon by tomorrow, according to the latest report of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).In the 5 a.m. weather report, "Karen" packs maximum sustained winds of 120 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 150 kph. It is expected to be 180 kms southeast of Aparri, Cagayan tomorrow.
Signal number 2 is currently raised in Isabela and Cagayan, while signal number 1 is up in Aurora, Pollillo Island, Quirino, Nueva Viscaya, Benguet, La Union, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Ilocos Sur, Kalinga, Abra, Ilocos Norte, Apayao, Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands and Calayan Group of Islands.
